Louise Pearson

Louise Pearson is Curator of Photography at the National Galleries of Scotland having previously held positions at Royal Collection Trust and the National Library of Scotland.

She has curated the exhibitions Counted: Scotland’s Census 2022 (2022), Making Space: Photographs of Architecture (2023) and Celebrating 40 Years of Scotland’s Photography Collection (2024).

In 2020, she was awarded an Art Fund New Collecting Award, through which she has been exploring how to make Scotland’s photography collection more inclusive.
